it's defensive mechanism is the ability to mimic the colors of venomous insects, it has none of it's own and is in fact, delicious, it's main predator is a colorblind species of bird that inhabits the jungle, the bird is never hunted by any humanoids for fear of the bird being toxic from it's diet
